    Iran Theater- Seyed Abbas Salehi, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, tweets about a letter from Iranian artists to the  artists around the world

    "A letter from Iranian artists to artists around the world has had a widespread echo in the West.

    Iranian artists urge world celebs to call on U.S. to lift sanctions amid coronavirus epidemic  . In a Part of the letter reads:

    "The Iranian people are facing two crises today, a common crisis known as Coronavirus, and sanction that we wish you would never have known. During these days Iranian artists stay by health staffs.

    A few days ago, a number of cinema and cultural figures wrote a letter titled " A Letter from Iranian Artists to World Artists" and released it for signature by other cinema, music, theater, visual and architectural artists.

    The number of coronavirus patients in Iran exceeded 27,000 on Wednesday, more than 9,600 of whom have recovered from the disease, the Health Ministry announced.

    More than 434,000 people have been infected with COVID-19 globally, and the death toll has exceeded 19,600.
