A Veteran Khorasan Theater Artist Passes Away

Iran Theater-Ali Hariri, a veteran artist and figure in Mashhad theater community, passed away at the age of 73.
Ali Hariri was born in Mashhad in 1952 and began his artistic career in 1960 by attending the Theater Training Center. His teacher was professor Mohammad Ali Lotfi Moghadam Agha.
After completing his training courses, Hariri first acted in the play "Golden Snake" written by Ali Nassirian and directed by Lotfi Moghaddam. He joined the "Nima" theater group under the direction of the late Fereydoun Salahi and played roles in many notable shows.
Some of his famous shows include "Esmat" written by Reza Saberi and directed by Dariush Arjmand, "Nader Rad's Red Scarf" directed by Fereydoun Salahi, "How is Rahim's State" and "Goldoneh Khanum" written by Esmaeel Khalaj and directed by Mostafa Honrvar and Reza Saberi, as well as the play "Hangout" directed by Mehdi Sabbagh.
His last stage experience was "Pari Banu" in August 2019, a show that he wrote and directed himself.
