I tried to show the destructive face of the lie

Iran Theater- "The main theme of our play is lies," said Neda Qorbanian, a screenwriter and director of “Screenshot”, told the Iran Theater.

The relationship between the two families,  which  construction of a hotel  is tied to their fate and an event that breaks up their relationship, forms the basis of a screenshot directed by Neda Qorbanian.

The show “Screen shot” is written and directed by Neda Qorbanian is on stage at Tehran’s City Theater Complex.

About the theme of the play, She explained:” The show has a simple theme and is about two families whose fathers have partnered to build a hotel in Holy Mashhad, They intend to buy three old houses around the shrine and to get a hotel license. But the middle flat belongs to an old woman who is a martyr's mother and refuses to sell the house and says the house is full of memories of her martyr's son. As a result, They face some problems. At the Razavi Festival the show received positive reviews, won first prize, including a special mention , a Festival Statue and a Cash Prize for Writer and Director.”

In modern times, the debate about lies and the challenges surrounding it seems to have become a global issue. The director believed:” Lies are always told and lies are not specific to this era. The important thing is that in our society,  The immorality of lying has disappeared. Now, lying is very common. I tried to show the destructive face of the lie.”
