Siamak Zomorodi Motlagh as Director and Atila Pesyani, Seifollah Samadian and Mahmoud Kalari as the jury members of photography and photo exhibition of the Thirty-eighth Fadjr International Theater Festival was announced.
Siamak Zomorodi Motlagh Born in Tehran, he started theater photography with "Medea" directed by Qotbuddin Sadeghi. He has been a founding board member and chairman of the Photographers Association in Theater Forum, a three-time Fadjr International Theater Festival .
Atila Pesyani (, born 30 April 1957[1] in Tehran) is an Iranian actor. Pesyani is the son of actress Jamileh Sheykhi.
Pesyani studied theater acting and directing at the College of Fine Arts, University of Tehran, and began his acting career on stage in 1968.
He made his cinematic debut in 1983 with the movie ‘White Death’ and has since appeared in numerous films.
Among the movies in which he has performed are ‘The Hidden Half’ (2001), ‘Ceasefire 1 and 2’ (2005 and 2014), ‘Hidden Feeling’ (2006), ‘Throughout the Night’ (2010), ‘The President’s Cell Phone’ (2011) and ‘The Wooden Bridge’ (2011).
Some series which he has played roles in are ‘The First Night of Peace’ (2006), ‘Privacy Policy’ (2009), ‘Goodbye Child’ (2012), ‘A Piece of Land’ (2012), ‘Like a Mother’ (2013), ‘Madineh’ (2014) and ‘A Beautiful Revolution’ (2014).
Mahmoud Kalari (born in Tehran), is an Iranian cinematographer, screenwriter, film director and photographer, who has worked with a number of renowned Iranian directors such as Abbas Kiarostami, Jafar Panahi, Asghar Farhadi and Mohsen Makhmalbaf.
After completing photography courses in the United States, he held his first photo exhibition titled "Visit with People Around Us" at Tehran University in 1976. A few years later he became employed by Paris-based Sigma Photo News Agency and worked for them for four years. In 1980 he was ranked one of the '15 Best Photographers of the Year' by Time Magazine, and his photos could be seen in French, German, and American magazines. Kalari moved back to Iran and from 1982 to 1984 worked as the supervisor of the Tehran National TV Photography Unit.
Seifollah Samadian (b. 1954, Iran) has been a photographer since 1968 and a documentary filmmaker since 1978. He is also the founding director of the Annual Image Visual Arts Festival and Tassvir Film Festival and founder and chief editor of Tassvir Magazine. His filmography includes: tehran, fall of 83 (1983, doc.), the white station (1999, short video art), the art of killing (2003, short video art) and once upon a time, marrakech (doc.)
