Sima Tirandaz, is getting prepared to attend in the new plays section of 33rd Fadjr International Theater festival with the “Fatalists”.

Noushin Tabrizi proceeds the period of time between1315 to 1320 of Iran in "Ganjfeh". She is rehearsing this play to attend in the new theaters section oF Fadjr Festival these days.

Ali Jannati, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance met and talked with Iranian theatre artists on Sunday 11th Jan.

Pari Saberi, experienced writer and director of Iran’s theater, said that Fadjr Festival is the gate to introduce the new and brilliant talents of Iran’s theater to the whole world.

Majid Ghadimi who participated in Outdoor Section of 33rd Fadjr International Theatre Festivalwith “Talkhand” (Bitter Smile) said that the play is about innocence of Palestinian people.  

The center of 33rd Fadjr International Theater Festival, introduced the accepted guest plays for the street theater section.

Ali Ghazi who participated 33rd Fadjr International Theater Festival in street theater section from Masjedsoleiman with the play named “The Rain’s Bride”, introduced his play the combination of two different customs of Bakhtiari tribe.

Soroush Taheri with “Pearl” play has a historical look to Moguls attack in Iran New Theatres in of 33rd Fadjr International Theatre Festival.

The secretary of Fadjr International Theater Festival announced they will appreciate four martyred artists in this event.

“Ludlow Fair” directed by Mehdi Zia Chamani is the first play of Lanford Wilson, the American writer which is performed in Iran. The play is participated in New Look section of 33rd Fadjr Theatre Festival.

The center of 33rd Fadjr International Theater Festival introduced the accepted plays for the review section.

Daniel Namazi said that he shaped “A Free Adaptation of Servants” based on two specialties of employee and employer of people which is participated in the New Generation section of 33rd Fadjr International Theatre Festival.

Hossein Noshir who is present in new generation section this year with"Macbeth", says that he combines this tragedy with the eastern poetry.

Tinou Salehi says that “wow” is an experimental play which will surprise the audience because it has been written in two years very precisely.

Reza Saberi who was introduced as the selected director of Fadjr Theatre Festival in 1982 and 1983 called this big dramatic event as the front of Iranian theatre.

Hossein Fadayi Hossein says that type of the look to the performing techniques among the directors in the new generation part were much more noticeable this year.

Accepted plays for new Iranian theater were announced and according to the public relations of 33rd Fadjr International Theater Festival, selection committee of this part including Dr. Ghotbeddin Sadeghi, Dr. masoud Delkhah and Dr. Esmaeel Shafiee, announced 12 chosen plays as following:

The young Iranian director, Reza Ghayour, brings a new and modern version of the tragedy, Oedipus the King written by Sophocles to Fadjr theater festival.

Mohammad Ali Keshavarz who is hospitalized in his home because of his leg fracture wished the best for all the present artists in Fadjr Theatre Festival and advised them.

According to public relations of 33rd Fadjr International Theater Festival  , the selection committee for the new generation section , new experiences of Fadjr Festival ,including Mahmoudreza Rahaimi , Milad Akbarnrjad, Afshin  khorshid  Bakhtari, announced 12 plays for this part.

 “All the Thieves Are not Thief” written by Dario Fo has two performances in two theatre halls in Tehran.

The selection committee of street theater for 33rd Fadjr International festival announced 12 plays for the competitive section.

Shahram Karami stated that street theater is the most popular part of the Fajdr Theater Festival and creativity is the most important criteria to evaluate these plays.

“The Lieutenant of Inishmore” written by Nartin McDonagh and directed by Morteza Meshkat is being performed in Tajrobeh Hall of Tehran.

Naser Hosseini Mehr said that the doors of Iranian theatre must be opened to the contemporary generation and stages won’t be the only witnesses of the old generations’ art.

Iranian young director of “A Behanding in Spokane” the last play of Martin Mcdonagh believes that the main specialty of his works is the narrow line between comedy and darkness which was effective for audience too.

Iran Theatre- the play will be performed by directing Bahram Bayzayi based on the Persian ancient text “Erdovirafnameh” in a special narrative by acting several Iranian actors.    

 “All Thieves Are Not Thief” adapted from a play written by Dario Foe, the Italian famous writer directed by Amin Miri will be performed from December 30th in Alborz theatre hall of Korosh Complex.

Director of “Day of Death in Hamlet’s Story” said that he could portrait Hamlet as he liked.

Robert Greenwood and Dana Lubek, two Canadian artists started their 10-day classes in City Theatre Complex from middle of last week; classes which focus on physic and acting. They both say that they didn’t expect to face with such talented eager students.

Amy Strange English actress of “London, Rome, Tehran, Amsterdam” believes that she understood a different philosophy with traveling, and seeing events in Iran.

Seyed Saeed Hashemzadeh believes that if you want to work classic text which has regular storyline, you have to have new look to them.

Marta Paganelli, the Italian actress of “London, Rome, Tehran, Amsterdam” said that the play is the real sample of an intercultural work.  

Behnaz Jafari who plays in the role of Margaret Moore in “A Man for All Seasons” in Vahdat Hall said that audience welcoming of the play was predictable.

Mehdi Moghimi Esfand Abadi, Director of “Arkansaw Bear” with emphasis on role of music in transmitting concepts of drama pointed to using music as an element that without it child audience won’t enjoy.

Hadi Sarvari is supposed to perform a theatre named “Little Group f Forgetfulness” in Vahdat Hall with group of physically disabled. 

Farzad Dehnavi director of “Bald Singer”: said that I learned from Master Samandarian that “Audience” is the A to Z of theatre and there is nothing else.

“Anna Karenina” based on Leo Tolstoy’s novel ditrected by Homa Rousta will be Reading Play in National Library for Supporting Cancer Patients on December 6th.  

Siamak Safari believes that  “A Man for All Seasons” is interesting for Iranian audience because of different reasons like the text is famous, the cast are famous and the subject is attractive also the performing style is good.    

Dr. Mohammad Reza Khaki said that Pierre Robber Lokerek’s “Sentinels” is a simple text that talks about a serious issue with comic language.

 Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt’s “Eisenstein’s Betray” play translated by Fahimeh Mousavi reaches to 2nd Edition in less than a month.  

34th ITI Universal Congress which was held in Yerevan was finished with approval of Iran’s ideas.  

Iranian International Theatre Festivals Were Registered in the calendar of the Institute by attempts of present Iranian group in ITI universal congress.    

With attempts of General Manager of Iran Dramatic Arts Center and the attendant delegation in ITI Universal Congress, Representative of Region Council of Asia-Pacific Theatre Will Devolve to Iran.

Shaghayegh Dehghan who is acting in her 2nd theatrical experience with “Spanish Play” emphasized that this text is more complicated than other Yasmina Reza’s texts.

Actress of “Linda” role in “Death of Salesman” emphasized that the text talks about a common pain among all societies.

Many of Iranian artists cherished memory of Majid Bahrami a recent defunct Iranian cinema and theatre actor with giving speeches or sending messages.

Majid Bahrami, the young actor of Iranian cinema and theatre passed away in Pars Hospital of Tehran at 8:45 a.m. of yesterday 15th November.  

 “Spanish Play” written by Yasmina Reza directed by Shiva Ordouyi has been performed from November 9th in Persian Gulf hall of Niavaran Cultural House. 

 “Report to Academy” directed by Hossein Pakdel is being performed in Maktab-e Tehran Theatre hall.

Director of “London, Rome, Tehran, Amsterdam” believes that this play is about the flaky image which we have from our different cultures and people who make these differences.

 “Necrosis” will be performed in Sharif Industrial University from November 15th which is group work of Sharif Industrial University’s students and Art University ones.

 “Water, Mirror and Effect of Pygmalion” based on a myth of ancient Greece is performed in Master Entezami Theatre Hall of House of Iranian Artists  in style of a modern Iranian story.

Hossein Taheri, General Manager of Dramatic Arts Center visited Morteza Ahmadi, the veteran Iranian cinema, theatre, and TV and asked him to perform a theatre after he got better in Sangelaj Theatre Hall.

 “In the Lion’s Skin“ written by Sean O’Casey and directed by Mikaeel Shahrestani has been performed in Gousheh Hall of Niavaran Cultural House.      

“The Good Soldier Švejk” which is a student work has been performed in Aav Theatre Hall in Tehran.

In press conference of “Death of Salesman”, Nader Borhani Marand defended of reproduction of works because the essentiality of every theatre band is dynamic activity and continuity in performing works.
